Alto Vista Chapel

We also went out to visit this Alto Vista Chapel.
It is built on a historic site of one of the oldest chapels in Aruba.
I believe it's a Catholic Chapel.

This was called a "Peace Labyrinth"  located just behind the Chapel
(This is Sister Jones walking the Labyrinth)

It was only a short walk from the Chapel to the Ocean.
Aruba is very dry and has some of the most beautiful Cactus plants.

California Light House

This cute couple took the picture of our group they are visiting Aruba on their honeymoon
They were just married last week in the Payson Temple.

Elder Lindley & Elder Parr
Boys will be Boys.....no matter how old they are!😁😏

I got in the car and Kyle said he needed to take a picture of my hair before I did anything to fix it.....The wind does crazy things with my hair....Sister Williams said to me, "Sister Baird, every time I see you - your hair is "bigger"." and that's totally because of the wind and humidity.  Oh the joys of natural curl!!  I've tried to embrace it instead of "fighting it....😂

Dinner at a place called Elliot's
(owned by President Elliot a Branch President here in Aruba)
It was Delicious and the service was incredible

Breakfast at a place called Matthews

We had one full day and two part days of wonderful time together as well as instruction and learning to help us grow and be better missionaries as well as Individuals.

Elder & Sister Thackeray

You can't really see it here but Elder Vermeeren didn't bring his magnetic name tag and he didn't have a pocket on his casual shirt.  I had some name tags I was delivering to a missionary in Guyana so he borrowed one for the night figuring that no one really looked too closely at the name.  He was Elder Leitch for the evening.  😂  President Baird said he was going to have to tell Elder Leitch that he saw him with his arm around a Sister and ask if he had something he needed to tell him......the younger missionaries are definitely not supposed to be hanging out with girls while on their missions - their focus is supposed to be spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving others.

We took a nice evening walk and had a great time just
visiting and enjoying the beautiful Caribbean air and great
company while indulging in some wonderful Gelato.

The Visitor at the Pool.....You've never seen ladies move so quickly to get out
when this guy came to get a drink 😂😂😂
