Aruba (24-30 AUG 2019)

ARUBA

We met The Corrigan Family At Church
The Church makes the world very small and we have so many "small world" stories
As we got talking with them we found out that their son had been Elder Richard's
companion in the MTC and their Daughter had served with our son, Brandon
in the Uruguay Montivideo West Mission.

Lea Corrigan, she served with Brandon in a place called Tacuarembo

We met this beautiful couple at church today too.
I can't remember their names but they were amazing and I wish they
were ready to serve a "senior mission"  we would grab them immediately.
They said they would do some recruiting with us.

P-Day Activity
We had Pizza and played Ping Pong with the
Aruba missionaries!!

We found this cute little subdivision with some colorful homes.
Kyle wants to go home and make one similar on some lots
we own in Utah by Lake Powell.
(Could be a fun project - bring a Caribbean feel to Utah)

The grass is turf.....

We went to dinner with President  & Sister Yuyes (ABC District President)
And President & Sister Mejia (Branch President Orajestad)
We at at President Elliot's Italian Restaraunt (he's the Branch President in
San Nicolas - he's the one standing in the back)  He makes the BEST lasagna!!

We were told right when we came to the mission that
the place to eat in Aruba was Chalo Burger.
This time we thought we'd give it a try.
The burgers were huge!!  Good thing we decided to split one.
