BACK IN CURACAO
Sister Sichtman was Visa waiting in our mission but got her Visa and headed to Chile. We will miss her but she will do amazing things. |
We had a Young Single Adult activity at our home. What wonderful young people these guys are. Because we were having Zone conference the next day, the BonAire & Curacao Sisters were spending the night here so they joined in the fun. We had dinner and then a snowball fight. Since they have no snow in the Caribbean I had some "fake" snowballs that we played with. It was a lot of fun!! (It was really funny because when I told them we were having a snowball fight one of the girls said...."But I don't like the cold..." lol 😂 I told her that if we had real snowballs they would melt too fast here to have any fun anyway... She was relieved when I pulled out the "fake" ones.

Baptism
We were having a baptism in the morning before Zone Conference, the pump on the font at the church broke. Luckily we have an "oversize baptismal font" at the mission home. Such a beautiful baptism with this mother and son. They are remarkable people!! It's so good to see the gospel light shine in their eyes.Curacao Zone Conference
