GEORGETOWN GUYANA

Elder Cruickshank finally got his visa
so he will be headed to Puerto Rico Soon!!
We will sure miss him but we know the Smarts (His mission
president & wife there and we love them so we are happy
to let him go.  He will be a tremendous asset wherever he serves!!
So Grateful he got to start his mission here with us.  

Interview days are some of my favorite days and I know they are favorite days for President Baird as well.  They are never the same.  Sometimes I get one on one time with a missionary and we can just talk.  I love to ask them to share miracles with me (that's my favorite!), I also love learning more about them, their likes and dislikes, their families, personalities and just being with them.  If President Baird gets behind and we end up with a group waiting, often we will play games together.  This is a wonderful way to get to know them better and just have a little fun together.

Sometimes when we are on the road for extended periods of time, one of the challenges is finding the time and place to wash clothes.  We have been at this long enough that we have a pretty good system down at this point in time but occasionally we have been known to make due washing a few things in the sink at the hotel....  Brandon, had to hand wash all of his clothes his entire mission so we have nothing to complain about....we took these pictures for him so he would know that his dad had to do some hand washing on his mission too.  😉
