Trinidad

TRINIDAD

When we arrived in Trinidad, Kyle and I started looking through our phones trying to see if we could find a number for the Holiday Inn where we were scheduled to stay so we could arrange for a shuttle to come and pick us up. (Kyle decided that through this first tour he was not going to rent a car in any of the countries where he had to drive on the "opposite side of the road" or where we have heard that the "rules" of the road are a little crazy -- at least until you are used to it)  Anyway, while we were waiting there, two Elders came up and "rescued" us.  I was so grateful to see them.  We have been so well cared for.

Elder McKay and Elder Norton -- These two not only rescued us but they drove us
around Trinidad.  What a treat it was to get to know them and all the missionaries
serving in this area of the mission.

Pizza for Zone Conference Lunch!!
The Senior Couples around our mission usually take care of the meals for Zone Conferences.  They either have them catered, order something, or make something....it varies from area to area.  I'm so grateful for this because it takes the pressure off me where I don't know the local areas very well and I don't have anywhere to cook myself because we are always on the road. There are no Senior couples in Trinidad at the moment so we ordered pizza for lunch and I think the Elders loved it.  President Baird was excited because there was a bakery close by to get some desserts......He really enjoys the "sweeter" things in life.

Elder Nuttall and Elder Riggs  They are both headed home.  We are so grateful we got to serve with them if only for a short time.  Both have been wonderful missionaries.

I got such a laugh out of this picture,  it seems like every time
I give my phone to missionaries to take a picture for me I get a "selfie" when
I download the pictures....lol, I love it!
