A photo op with the Pilot

I have tremendous faith in the co-pilot.....just not his piloting abilities!

BonAire Youth Activity

We had a single adult activity at the Church -  Last transfer we wanted to have little devotionals in each area, this transfer we want to have activities with the Single Adults.  We just really want to organize times we can spend with the rising generation to help strengthen them and encourage them all we can.  We got together and played games.  It was a wonderful evening.  There were more young people there who were not members of the church than who were.  What a wonderful missionary opportunity.  It was so fun!!

The Sisters cleaning the church after.

Some of the Pioneers in BonAire!!
These two beautiful ladies were baptized when the church first came to BonAire 28 years ago. -- Incredible stalwarts!!

What a wonderful surprise we had when we came to church this morning and Sister Burrup came to visit!!
She may have returned home from her mission but she will always be one of our "Sister missionaries"
We love and miss her so much!!

Sister Burrup and her family.  It was so wonderful to meet them all.
We now know why she is so incredible....she comes from good roots!!

When we are in BonAire the Albuses invite us for dinner.  This is their youngest, Kaeden,  and, as you can see, he really enjoyed dessert!!  He is so cute!!!!!!!!

Just Sent in Mission Papers for Nefi Statie
His brother Gariel is already Serving in the Scotland Ireland Mission

We sent this picture to our kids and said that as soon as there is enough snow here we are going to take off in this sleigh and fly home!!

Fixing the Sister's Bike Rack
Not one of President Baird's Skill sets....he is not much of a fix-it kind of guy.  He can do basic things but throughout our married life it has been just quicker and so much more efficient to call someone more skilled to do it.  I was talking to our contractor at the mission home one day about this and kind of teasing President Baird.  The contractor, who is not a member of the church said, "That's ok, because I can tell he is good at fixing souls".....  So true.  President Baird has a way of connecting with people and helping them improve their lives from the inside out.  He is really good at ministering as the Savior did.
