Suriname (13-17 JAN 2019)

SURINAME

Single Adult Activity.....

This has been one of the highlights of our tour this time around.  We have really enjoyed getting to know more of the members, spending time with them and just having fun!!  I love the sound of happy people and we had a lot of laughs in each country.  I really enjoyed watching those who were a little shy or reserved to begin with really open up as the night went on.  I hope that these activities just continue to strengthen this group as they have them regularly. We plan on joining in whenever we are able.

This is Angelina,
She is a wonderful Return Missionary
and always helps us us at the Marriott
when we are there.

This is Simon's family
The Dental Assistant from Curacao
It was so fun to meet them, they were delightful.
We met with them for a while and then I left them with
a photo of Simon and a Book of Mormon.
Her mom was very impressed at how well the missionaries
spoke Dutch.

Elder Heimdal always has a leatherman with him
We are so glad that he is always prepared.
Sister Mergenthaler got "locked" in the bathroom
It would not open so we ended up taking the
door-nob off to get her out.

(How many missionaries does it take
to open a bathroom door?....)
Everyone intently waiting to see if she
gets out ok. (She got a little nervous but
I promised her we would not
leave without her 😉)

Sister Woolsey
she said, "This is why girls always
go to the bathroom together"....just incase
someone gets locked in the other can
go for help.

Sister Mergenthaler
Yay!!! She got out!!
