Curacao 6-7 NOV 2018 (Great way to spend my Birthday!!)

Interviews the day before.....

One of my favorite things to do on this mission is to visit with the missionaries while
they are waiting for their interviews with President Baird.  It gives me a chance to get to
know them better as well as a chance for them to share experiences with me.  I have learned so
much from each of them.  They each bring their own personalities and talents to this mission.
I know the Lord has called them here for a reason.  They truly are incredible!!!  How blessed I am to serve alongside such amazing young people who are sacrificing their time to serve the Lord and others and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all they meet.

We always think it's fun to get a "sandal tan line" photo.  The Elders were feeling left out
so they decided to join in.  ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚  One even left his sock on....lol.  The Sisters
Definitely have "cooler" tan lines!!!๐Ÿ˜‰

We left Curacao right after Zone Conference to head to Aruba!!

A "selfie" in the little plane

It looks pretty exotic and exciting to be in Aruba on my Birthday!!
I remind myself sometimes to take a breath and take in the beauty around me.
It truly is beautiful!!!  The people even more so than the environment.  That's what makes
this mission so amazing....working with the people!!  I'm completely exhausted at the end of each
day but it is a good exhaustion.  I love this work and sharing the Gospel.  I love
working with the missionaries and the members!!  I'm so
happy being a missionary!!
